  1. Hi,

I am wondering if the beginner and intro classes can be taken simultaneously; I am thinking of taking the course with my partner, and he is rhythm challenged..but we are both keen to learn. Let us know what you think – thanks!

    • For most of our classes this is inadvisable as the second level assumes you have completed the first. If you’re talking about West Coast Swing, with this class especially that would be rather confusing! Introduction to West Coast Swing focuses on learning the basic steps (sugar push, left side pass, girl turn, sugar tuck, etc.). Beginner West Coast Swing builds on everything you learned there and applies them all together with some new moves to begin learning some patterns. Once you’ve completed both classes you’ll still be a beginner West Coast Swing student – I certainly still am!

    • The Argentine Tango and other class schedules have been posted! Take a look and show up to the first day of class in the room indicated to register!

    • We have just posted the Spring Schedule! There will be classes for May and part of June as well as two social dances!

  2. If I register for an intro class and find I’m picking it up quickly am I allowed to move to level 2 or, do I have to complete intro before I can move on?

    • It is usually advised to finish an intro level class before moving on to the next level. There is alot you will be expected to know at a higher level that you will miss by skipping the intro. It can start out a little slower to make sure everyone fully understands the basics. Ask your instructor for a way improve technically or in styling that you can practice while the rest of the group catches up :) There is a saying that you can never know your basic step well enough!

    • We are waiting to hear about room bookings and will post something as soon as we know but as it stands, not yet. Thanks!

  3. Hello There! I just found out about your classes not quite sure what I will pick up eventually. I wondering are there classes that I can attend to find out what kind I wil be interested in and what are the schedule ?
Thank you! and Hope to see you on a dance floor)))
